Gref: Sber hopes for fast approval of e-financial asset platform
MOSCOW, Dec 7 (PRIME) -- Russia’s Sber hopes to have its digital financial assets platform registered by the central bank by the end of 2021, the bank-turned-ecosystem’s head German Gref said on Tuesday.
“We’re in constant contact with the central bank, we’re discussing different issues. We want to believe that registration will have taken place until the end of the year,” Gref said.
Sber created the platform to issue digital financial assets. At the first stage, the company plans to issue and handle only its own assets, while other issuers will join later.
